A dream, a meeting!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

A huge flute orchestra with flutists from all over Brazil.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

All our States are represented.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Distances? Borders? Not at all! The virtual space provided the magic of being together.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The whole Flute family brought together. From Piccolo to Contrabass Flute.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

All colleagues: professionals and amateurs, teachers and students.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Union and the feeling of belonging. This is ABRAF.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Caldo de Cana<\/span><\/em> has Brazil\u2019s flavor. It is a Bai\u00e3o, with an up-tempo groove!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

And we play with that swing …<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, 220 flutists at 220 volts!\u00a0<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Positive energy!<\/span><\/p>\n

I wrote Caldo de Cana in 1978 and it was the title song of my second CD released in 2000.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the pandemic, I posted weekly, my arrangements for different flute groups and always received a relevant and interesting comment from Alberto Sampaio. I could hardly believe it when I received ABRAF’s invitation via Beto and Silvana Poll to make this video with the virtual ABRAF Orchestra. What a happiness!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Now this music sweetens Brazil and unites 220 flutists from all states of our country!<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
