The International Saxophone is a biennial event basically composed of artistic and pedagogical activities. Artistic activities are concerts, shows, concerts, exhibitions, where you can see many saxophonists playing songs from various musical styles and exploring the musical diversity of the saxophone. The educational activities are workshops, lectures and masterclasses. In workshops and lectures saxophonists invited address, in front of the entire group of participants, topics of interest and utility to any saxophonist, no matter the technical level that is their training. In masterclasses one participant who signed up as “attendee performer” performs excerpts from works of the repertoire of the saxophone while guest saxophonist discusses his performance in front of the large group of participants, like a big open class. To participate you need not be professional or advanced student. There is also no age restrictions. The artistic activities are open to any interested party (enrolled or not).
