Os Bambas da Bela Época

On April 29th 8:00 PM, at Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro  will take place the concert :

1911 – 2011 Os Bambas da Bela Época, with string orchestra and guest soloists

Compositions by  Chiquinha Gonzaga, Francisco Braga, Ernesto Nazareth, Henrique Oswald, Luciano Gallet, Glauco Velasquez and Heitor Villa-Lobos.

I will solo the incredilble piece “When Chiquinha Gnzaga played with John Coltrane thinking that it was Pixinguinha” by  Tim Rescala. Myself on  Tenor Sax and the author on the piano.
