David Ganc started out in the Seventies with cult band ‘A Barca do Sol’, which recorded three albums, the first one produced by Egberto Gismonti. After the band’s dissolution in 1980, David went to the United States, graduating at Berklee College of Music in 1984 / Professional Music and also earned its diploma of Classical Flute at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
